Fried Sweet Potatoes

Sweet Potatoes are one of my favourite snacks! I always make sure I buy a bag or two of these yummy sweet potatoes when I go to our local market. They are nutritious, healthy, good for our skin, affordable, and they have this certain sweetness on their own that I love. It's like eating candy, but much healthier. You can roast, bake, grill, steam or fry them -- depending on what you prefer -- but I like them fried. I am not talking about any regular cooking oil; I am talking about frying them in olive oil. Why? Because it makes a huge difference! It gives the sweet potatoes that beautiful orange color and gives that sweetness that I crave.

Sweet potatoes and olive oil are rich in benefits for our skin. Put these two together, and you'll make an easy healthy snack in no time! Your skin will love you for it.

All you need are:

  • Sweet potatoes, cut them into fries or chips
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions:

  • Fry the sweet potatoes until they are a little crisp and golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste... or none at all, it is all up to your tastebuds. :)

Oh! I almost forgot! You can also add a dash of flax seeds, chia seeds or hemp seeds for added nutritional benefits. It won't alter the taste. Try them! Tell me what you think! I am craving for fried sweet potatoes now!!!
