I decided to combine two reviews for this post. I'd be reviewing Etude House's Like 20 (Twenty) eye concentrate and booster essence.

This is an early anti-aging skin care line introduced by Etude House who are in their 20's to get in the habit of taking care of their skin..., or who wants to look "twenteen" as long they can. "Keep your skin elastic, create a protection layer, keep it moist and you will have a young looking skin like in your 20s", is their slogan for this beautiful collection. It contains ceramide and murumuru oil to keep skin supple and smooth.

Like 20 Eye Concentrate

Etude House Like 20 (Twenty) Eye Concentrate 30ml | Php800+

This is an eye cream that provides moisture to the dry eye area with its smooth application for a firm eye area free of wrinkles. Formulated with ceramide and murumuru oil.

Direction: Dispense certain amount onto eye area before applying cream, gently dabbing with fingertips.

It comes with a dispenser as I easily control the amount of product on my ring fingers, and gently dab around my eye area. It smells nice and does leave the skin supple. I do not have dark circles or crows feet, but it helps keep everything moisturized. I like it that it comes in a dispenser because it keeps it sanitized rather than a jar. I use it at night. I have been using it for weeks, and my eye area looks great!



Like 20 Booster Essence

Etude House Like 20 (Twenty) Booster Essence 100ml | Php900+

This Booster Essence contains Brazilian Muru Muru Tree Butter and Ceramide to moisturize, firm and protect your skin. It absorbs quickly to soothe skin. It will prevent your skin from losing hydration and create moisture barrier.

Direction: After morning and night ritual, dispense certain amount onto palm of hands and lightly massage from inner to outer areas of face, patting to absorbs remaining contents of the skin. More effective when lightly hugging face with palm. 

 The product almost comes in a semi-transparent dispenser. It is a gel-type boosting oil essence to relieve skin from aging. One to two pea-sized amount is all it needs to keep my face, neck, decolletage, and the back of the hands to keep it soft and moist. I love the scent of this one. It sinks into my skin quickly and leaves my skin supple. I like to apply this at night for a more skin rejuvenation every time I sleep, and wake up fresh.

I am so intrigued by their ALL DAY CREAM PACT. Has anyone tried it?

Etude House Moonlight Blending Sleeping Cream | Blueberry

I am in love with this Blending Sleeping Cream by Etude House! I have tried one of these months ago but I was not able to make a post for you all. But fear not! I knew I need to tell you why I bought some of these awesome creams again from my last visit at Etude House. And come to think of it, I need to buy a few more because that's how much I love it.

The one's I have tried so far are: SHEA BUTTER and OLIVE. And today I'd be reviewing the BLUEBERRY kind because this provides moisture and antioxidants for the skin.

I could feel my skin needs a pick-me-up because of a lot of things going on! I need to give my skin a break!

Moonlight Blending Sleeping Cream (Blueberry) | Php68

This is a Blending Sleeping Cream containing Blueberry extract, Lavender, Chamomile and Mint. Blend together Sleeping Cream's golden herb water-gel and richly nourishing cream contents to moisturize skin overnight for a lucid, bright moonlight-like complexion.

Directions:

1. Squeeze paper cover to slightly open up and remove enclosed spoon.

2. Remove sealing cover slowly starting from the end of spoon handle.

3. Break off the spoon from pack container and evenly blend together golden herb water gel-like and cream with spoon's smaller end.

4. Pick up blended Sleeping Cream with hands and evenly apply a certain amount onto face. Wear overnight and rinse off with lukewarm water the next morning.

The Blending Sleeping Cream has 8 variants to choose from: Royal Jelly, Shea Butter, Olive, Blueberry, Rosehip, Evening Prim, Seaweed, and Green Tea. It is a cream used lastly on evening skincare routine. But sometimes I like to use this alone after toner. It still works great!

Just look how cute the details are in this packaging! I love the name of the product as well! And the cream itself comes in a unique way of presentation: a spoon. Yes, a spoon! I was surprised to find a spoon with the product in it. How cute is that!

This blueberry Moonlight Blending Sleeping Cream has a lovely scent. Peel the sticky paper off the spoon and you will find two types of emollient: a transparent gel and a pinkish cream just like an egg yolk. The best part of this is detaching the handle and mix the products onto the spoon and you'll get a gel-like pinkish cream to be applied on the face, neck, decolletage and the back of the hands. I love the idea of mixing things such as these!

I wasn't able to take a picture of the product once the packaging was opened. I wish you could have seen it but I did not want to waste time taking pictures while the cream is exposed for so long.

It didn't felt sticky on my face. It made my skin look dewy before I went to bed. I still had a lot product in my spoon for me to use in one night. But I can't let it go exposed for hours! What I did was, I used the rest of the cream on my elbows, legs and feet to give it antioxidants as well. :) By morning, my skin feels refreshed and soft.

This is amazing! It makes any "ordinary" day of applying creams into something engaging and fun! Everything is so cute! I would love to try other variants of blending sleeping cream!

Mini Haul: ETUDE HOUSE and SNOE

Had a little skin care shopping the other day! Though I would love to splurge more, I still have enough skin care products back home to last me for a month or two.

Start with SNOE first:

I wrote a review about this product a year ago. It's SNOE's Extra Strength Glutathione Whitening Powder Mask [Php349]. Here is the link to my review in case you haven't read it yet. It is a whitening mask you apply on areas on the body where you want it to lighten. I have tried it and always been coming back for this every time I feel like I like to lighten some uneven areas in my body.

This is one soap from SNOE that I always feel like I'm a little apprehensive of. I didn't know which soap I should buy: the EAU LALA SEED SERUM NATURAL BEAUTY BAR or their EMU.CLEANSE CREAMY BEAUTY BAR. [ Read my review here. ] I read at the back of the packaging the benefits of both soaps just to be sure I'd be getting a soap I really need. It was recommended by the sales person that I should try their EAU LALA SEED SERUM NATURAL BEAUTY BAR [Php399] when I told her I got a dried up rash in my body that I needed to lighten. And so I bought it. It is a bit expensive, and I'm crossing my fingers.


Next, ETUDE HOUSE:

I got their HAPPY ESSENTIAL FOAM in COLLAGEN (pink) [Php248] because I love it so much as well as their HYALURONIC ACID (blue) facial cleansers! It is creamy and smells divine whenever I wash my face with this. I always keep coming back for this every time! Collagen is that "glue" that keeps our skin together keeping it look fresh and young. I bought 5 sheet masks [Php58 each]: ACAI BERRY (antioxidant), SNAIL (smooth firming), PEARL (bright complexion), POMEGRANATE (smooth & energizing) and COENZYME 10 (tightening & firming). I had to pick an each of my favorite masks to give my skin variety whenever I feel like I need a little boost after a long day. Have you noticed I never post reviews on sheet masks? :)

They also gave me a freebie! Since I spent over Php500 worth of products. (It depends what freebie you'll be getting if you reached a certain mark). I got two sample sizes of their ZERO SEBUM clear gel which is perfect for me because I have oily skin. I'll let you know what I think about it in a few days.

ETUDE HOUSE Collagen Moistfull Emulsion

I've been using ETUDE HOUSE's Moistfull Aloe Soothing Lotion for some time which is good. But I like to switch things up with my skin care routine. I had to try ETUDE HOUSE Collagen Moistfull Emulsion because of the collagen content inside! We know how important collagen is to our skin.

ETUDE HOUSE Collagen Moistfull Emulsion 180ml | Php700+

A concentrated moisturizer that immerses skin in rich moisture to improve skin health and moisture level. Fortified with Baobab Tree extract and collagen, skin is treated to advanced moisture with a dramatic improvement in texture and tone in as little as a few days of use. Increases skin elasticity and reduced the appearances of fine lines.

Directions: After Facial Freshner (toner), apply an appropriate amount all over the face. Tap lightly to help absorption.

Benefits: Moisturizes. Increases Elasticity. Increases Collagen Synthesis. Retains Moisture. Improves Skin Health.

The packaging is beautiful and slender just like Moistfull Aloe Soothing Lotion. I knew it doesn't come with a dispenser; I had to tilt the bottle to get myself a hold on the cream and it didn't look me long to get some it either. It had a nice scent to it. It is not too thick nor too runny; it is just right. Currently, I use this as my morning and evening moisturizer. I use a little amount of cream for my face, neck, decolletage and my hands to keep it these areas healthy, fresh, soft and smooth. I wait for it to fully absorb in the morning before I apply a layer of sunblock. (We got to keep ourselves protected from the sun!) And on evenings, I like to layer this with another moisturizer. It works well. After applying the product on to my face, it makes me feel a little greasy, but it doesn't matter and I don't let it bother me. It makes my skin look dewy on every application and in the long run! I could see the awesome results every time I look in the mirror. For an oily skin myself, it certainly makes my skin a lot shinier! I had to use blotting sheets throughout the day to keep the oiliness at bay.

ETUDE HOUSE Happy Essential Foam Collagen

This is another facial wash I bought at ETUDE HOUSE after I ran out of their Happy Essential Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam. Look how cute and pink the packaging is! I am so drawn to it. It is packed with COLLAGEN and 40% moisturisers for sweet bonus! It'll make anyone's skin happy. I know mine did! :D

Collagen is a protein produced by our skin which "holds" the skin together giving its firmness and elasticity. Depleted collagen in our skin caused by sun exposure and bad skin habits would result to wrinkles and sagging skin. Here are some ways to keep our collagen in check: apply sunblock, up your vitamin C intake, 7-8 hours of sleep, eat fruits and vegetables, don't smoke, exfoliate, reach for retinol and cut back candies.

Happy Essential Collagen Cleansing Foam 185g | Php248

Formulated with 40% moisturisers, this creamy cleansing foam gently removes impurities with rich lather, with Marine Collagen extracts promotes elasticity and firmness.

Directions:

Wet face. Squeeze small amount into palm and rub hands together to form lather. Massage over face, avoiding eye area, then rinse thoroughly.

I love how this facial cleanser is very creamy and gentle to my skin. Been using it for 2 months and it made my skin clean, moist and supple. It smells nice too.

Goooo COLLAGEN! Yay!

ETUDE HOUSE Natural Jelly Cleansing Puff

It is raining cats and dogs. It's scary.

This is a konjac sponge or cleansing puff by ETUDE HOUSE.

This product is used for gentle exfoliation. I have no idea just how but it works. To use: let it soak in water, squeeze excess water and gently cleanse your face in circular motion, then hang dry. The sponge is good for  2-3 months... or until you see it is starting to deteriorate.

This is now what my sponge looks like after 5-6 weeks.

I've used it every single day and my skin feels soft afterwards. I used it without any facial cleansers to see how well it does the job. This puff is so cute, bouncy and delicate as it reminds me of those yummy rice cakes. (It makes me hungry!) It has a string attached to it so you can hang it after use.

Definitely have to get myself MORE of these.

Next time, I'm going to use it with a facial cleanser. (I love it bubble-y!!!)

Etude House Happy Essential Foam Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam

I am in love with this foaming cleanser from ETUDE HOUSE Happy Essential Foam Hyaluronic Acid. I am always looking for moisturizing products to keep my skin hydrated but this cleanser got me curious especially when it says 40% added moisture because of Hyaluronic Acid.

Hyaluronic Acid is an acid that occurs naturally in the skin and holds many times more moisture than the Collagen protein molecule. Its bind and retain essential moisture in the skin layers and reduces the line caused by dehydration.

Happy Essential Foam Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam [Php228]

Formulated with  40% polyol (Glycerine, Sorbitol, PEG-32) content to keep skin feeling moist and soft. With humectants properties, polyol moisturizes without irritation. This creamy cleansing foam gently removes impurities with rich lather, while Hyaluronic Acide promotes hydration. Skin is happy again, feeling clean, smooth and soft. 

ETUDE HOUSE's Happy Essential Foam has five selections to choose from: Collagen 40% (pink), Hyaluronic Acid 40% (blue), Vitamin C 40% (yellow), Witch Hazel 30% (brown), and White Clay 30% (gray). Each of them has its own specific function to keep your skin in healthy and moisturized.

• Collagen (pink) -- with marine collagen to promotes elasticity and firmness
• Hyaluronic Acid (blue) -- promotes hydration
• Vitamin C (yellow) -- promotes brightening
• Witch Hazel (brown) -- remove oil and residue
• White Clay (gray) -- oil control, remove oil and residues for cool clean sensation

The product comes in a 150ml flip-top easy-to-squeeze tube. Its texture is thick, smooth and creamy cleansing foam inside. It smells really good and very gentle on the skin once lathered. A pea-size amount is all it takes to wash off the dirt and sebum on one's face.

Even for an oily skin like me, I still prefer to use this because I like to keep that moisture as much as possible. After few washes, I've noticed a significant added hydration on my skin. I don't have those tool Koreans use to measure the amount of moisture percentage on skin but it made my skin look plump... and I LOVE it. I didn't experience any irritation or break-outs. Though I couldn't tell how tough it is to remove make-up.

I am really kind of curious the one in pink tube.

I would recommend this cleansing foam!

Etude House Moistfull Aloe Soothing Lotion

I ran out of my moisturizer and I was in the hunt for it. While we were at ETUDE HOUSE, I spotted this and found the name itself cute, moistfull. I have heard about this one (the one in orange packaging), but I decided to try this instead. I haven't read any reviews online on any products I bought at ETUDE HOUSE. Considering this is a Korean brand and they know what they're talking about when it comes to skin care, of course I had to buy it. It took me forever to read (the packaging) and decide which products I'd purchase... and I can see, at the corner of my eye, my fiance was getting impatient. LOL!

Moistfull Aloe Soothing Lotion 180ml [Php628]

Aloe Moistfull Soothing Lotion is a milk textured lotion containing Baobab Tree extracts and Organic Aloe that soothes the skin with soft and comfortable wear. Provides fresh moisture for skin. Ethanol-free. Oil free. Paraben free. talc free.

Directions: Apply the lotion on the skin from the center of the face to the outside, after using toner. With gentle patting, let the skin thoroughly absorb the moisture.

I am a third away before I ran out of this product. Don't worry; I've come in prepared and bought a back-up (a different brand) just in case. :)

This Aloe Moistfull Lotion is part of Etude House's Aloe Moistfull line. It comes with their: Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel, Aloe Moistfull Skin, Aloe Moistfull Lotion, Aloe Moistfull Cream, and their Aloe Moistfull Mist. I would love to purchase the whole set, but I'm on a tight budget and I had to pick. *sigh*

I love the thick glass-type packaging. That way, I can see how much product is still left. I hate it when I had to take a guess if I still have enough to last me for few weeks... then find out later it's empty and I do not have any back-up with me. What I didn't like about this, however, is that I had to tilt the bottle to get a hold of of the product. I thought it would come with a handy dispenser but it wasn't. But good thing I didn't have to wait forever to get some product out from this bottle. 

The Aloe Moistfull Lotion has a white thick milky texture and does smell like any lotion... or was it aloe?; nothing sweet nor does it have any feminine scent into it. A little of this product goes a long way! It absorbs quickly, mild and it does make my skin look moist, like it's sprinkled with water droplets -- and I find this a good thing. I may have oily skin, but that not necessarily mean I would forget to moisturize. Sometimes I ignore that sticky feeling I get from this because as long as it gives me great results, I do not let it bother me. I do a gentle patting motion afterwards because... I've seen Korean women do it. LOL! It sure is relaxing.

As much as possible, I only use this during my night skin care routine, but when I see my skin needs some boost, I (rarely) also apply this in the morning. Not only I apply this gently on my face, but I also make sure I keep my neck, decolletage and the back of my hands moisturized at night. As a girl, I've learned never to neglect these areas because no matter how much one take care of the face, the skin on these delicate areas are sure fire hints to guess a woman's age.

By morning, my skin looks happy and supple.

Etude House Zero Second Mineral Serum

An unexpected find while I was in Mall of Asia (MOA) months ago while I was browsing for some skin care products in Etude House. LOL!

Etude House Zero Second Mineral Serum [Php798]

Etude House Zero Second Mineral Serum is containing essential minerals and 10% spa mineral water from origin of spas, Spau(Belgium), this mist type Mineral Serum delivers instant moisture and relief after cleansing and helps improve condition of skin for a healthy complexion.

How To UseAfter cleansing, pat dry face so that skin remains slightly wet and spray Mineral Serum evenly onto face.

First of all, I didn't know what 'ZERO' exactly meant written in the packaging; I thought it meant less oily skin or minimize premature wrinkles. I asked the salesperson what it meant, but she doesn't know either. Looking closely at the box, it says serum in a spray bottle, (I thought it was one of those spray mists) and that's exactly what I need. I had to get it. I ran out of serum for months now, I believe. It's perfect.

I love to use this every time I do my night time skin care routine after I applied my toner. Just 2-3 sprays is all I need and my skin loves it targeting not only my face but also my neck and decolletage. Spray this at least 20cm away from your face; avoid contact with eyes. It helps my skin bring back that moisture and keeps it hydrated during my sleep. The scent has this beautiful fragrance and very feminine. It really doesn't feel like serum at all like the ones I had to apply on my face using my fingers but its more likely as water. It gets absorbed right away since it did say it takes ZERO SECONDS. I love that this one is in a spray bottle because it gets the job done without the hassle -- quick and simple. Didn't experienced any allergic reaction.

To keep that moisture locked-in, you have to use this (and/or any other skin care products) immediately after cleansing. Leave your skin slightly damp because the water itself (after you washed your face) is another great way to make your skin hydrated while applying your cream. This is why I do not want to interrupted while I do my skin care routine especially at night. My fiance didn't understand me at first, but he realized how important this is to me. :)

Use this product within 12 months after opening.

Etude House Haul

First thing comes to mind when it comes to Korean skincare is Etude House because it is really popular among girls. The packaging is so cute, dainty and pink! I love pink. When my aunt and cousins saw the pink paper bag from Etude House, they think I bought tons of make-up. My boyfriend and I laughed it off! I just smiled on the inside.
