All-Natural Handmade Soap: Honeycomb Pomegranate (Emu Oil Based) | Php295

Honey Comb Pomegranate is packed with special nutritive jelly for Queen Bees and extracts from the Pomegranate Fruit. It aids in promoting collagen and elastin, helps remove signs of hyper pigmentation through gradual micro-exfoliation, helps in shielding the skin from the harmful effects of the sun and encourages radiant skin. It also works for all skin types - dry, oily, normal, combination. Honeycomb Pomegranate is bee-friendly too as no bees are harmed during the harvesting process.

The new packaging (white) on their products are nice, but I still prefer the colorful and floral designs... like the one in the photo.

I used this as my facial soap for a month a half. My skin feels looks clear, fresh and soft to touch. I still did get a pimple or two, but overall, my skin looks amazing!

I have not read anything on any concerns for people who are allergic to honey. But if you are, please do a small skin patch test first. (or not at all, if you are allergic)

I saved this soap for last to cleanse my face. (I do also have another V&M soap I also saved for last to use for my face with) I have read an article about the benefits of Pink Himalayan Salt, and I knew I just got to try it out.

I used this cleansing bar for 2 months to wash my face twice a day and it leaves my skin clean and supple. It has a beautiful pink color and does not have any fragrance at all. It did not dried my skin nor did it caused redness. It made my skin look really nice, dewy and glow.

Venus & Mars Naturals Whitening Underarmour

Commercial deodorants as we all know has harmful chemicals that will affect negatively to our body and one of the culprit of dark underarms. I even doubt if it really lightens underarms in a matter of weeks like they claim. Well, lucky for some, but for the majority, it makes us shun away to wear sleeveless top. I stay away from these types of deodorant and I am really picky what to use for my delicate underarms.

Whitening Underarmour 50ml | Php555

Underarmour is especially formulated to extremely whiten and smooth dark, bumpy underarms as it keeps you cool and fresh throughout the day. It may be used even by people with sensitive skin. It also comes with a very refreshing scent, which will surely de-stress, keep you fresh and brighten your mood all day long! Comes in two variant: ACAI + MULBERRY or ALOE VERA + LICORICE MINT

I bought an each of these deodorants. It was on sale when I bought last year at the World Trade Center.  I have bought V&M's original deodorant years ago were it comes in a green spray bottle. It made me smell fresh all day and lightened my skin in a few months while pairing it with other whitening products. They all worked together!

Now they come in a dark bottles, to which from my knowledge, protects the "sensitive ingredients" from being exposed to the sun. But even still, I still store it somewhere it is not reached from the damaging sunlight... just to be sure. I am not much into the white sticker with labels written of the product thing. I kind of fancy the colorful and cute designs they put out in their soaps than this.

Since I got good results from their "original" deodorant, I have decided to try their new deodorants. Not only it has emu oil and other ingredients that will leave my underarms looking smooth and clean, I am not worried if it will cause irritation or darken my underarms. Just give it a quick shake and spray it, done. Both of these variants smell nice especially the ALOE VERA + LICORICE MINT because it leaves a wonderful peppermint scent. Though the price per bottle is expensive, I'm happy to say it lasted 5-6 months of use. Did it kept me fresh all day along? Yes to an extent as long as I do not run errands left and right especially out in the sun, or a sudden rush of adrenaline coming straight at me. If I am at home or in an air conditioned office, this would work tremendously.

I did also paired it with V&M's CPC+G Oil. (I'll still make a review on that!) I dabbed a little of this and sprayed this deodorant to see if it worked, but sadly, after 5-6 months, it did NOT lighten my skin. Maybe a teeny bit it did lighten, but it wasn't an overall drastic change. I was expecting a lot out on this product since they come in new packaging and new formulas.

Would I buy it again? Yes I would. Only because it is a trusted brand I have used for a few years and my skin did not irritate at all. Natural deodorants are hard to find these days that also work well for my body chemistry. (Though there is a part of me that wanted to create my own deodorant. I found a homemade deodorant recipe on Youtube a week ago.) For now, I can't jump around and test another deo because we all know underarms are very sensitive; a slight irritation means embarrassing dark spot in that area! But if I did ever find something better, and done my research, why not?

Venus and Mars: All-Natural Handmade Soap: Lulur (Emu Oil Based)

After years of being bacne-free, I started to get bacne probably from stress, hormone, dirt and grime, or certain body wash that may have caused this. How frustrating! I may have to note myself NOT to use those products again. I know what I said on my previous post, but this soap helped me cleared my skin together with V&M's milk salts. I look forward for their milk salts, too bad they ran out of stock. I repurchased this soap from a bazaar I went to a year ago.

The Javanese Lulur is considered to be the queen of treatments and has been practiced in the palaces of Central Java since the 17th century. There, the pursuit of beauty has long been a daily ritual and the Javanese Lulur an integral step, leaving the skin soft, supply and shining. V&M Naturals Lulur is concocted to leave the skin clear from impurities by means of its turmeric content mixed with emu oil and tea tree as it whitens the appearance of the skin through its powerful combination of arbutin, calamansi and papain. Moisturize and pamper the skin with the rest of the ingredients and find a noticeable and renewed skin after each use!

Every soap they sell look pretty from the way they were cut and presented. I like that each of their soaps were labeled differently, colorful and cute. All their soaps have also increased in size which also increased their prices, which seems to me it won't stop V&M fans from repurchasing and try out what's new in their skincare line.

I could not smell that strong scent of turmeric, or somewhat faint I guess. It was non-irritating at all and my skin felt nice and clean afterwards. I only use this soap on my body for 2-3 weeks. I wash my skin (bacne) with this, and seems some of them dried. YAAAS! V&M's Lulur has also whitening ingredients such as arbutin, calamansi and papain. I could not tell if my skin lightened a shade or two in just 2-3 weeks, which of course I should buy more if I wanted to and use it every day.

But I think I know a way: I can make a turmeric paste, but it will be quite messy.

Hmm... that's funny. Nothing had changed from neither these reviews I wrote. Oh well...

Venus and Mars: Whitening CPG+G Soap

This soap is a repurchase from a bazaar I went to last December 2015.

I read my previous review on this bar which you can read here. I wasn't impressed by it, and I want to see the micropeeling thing everyone was talking about even after purchasing 2-3 bars of this, but nada! Now it is finally back, the soap I was so used to, has changed a lot!

Woah! Was I stoked!

CPC+G White 135g | Php295

 Clair Blanche -- Papain -- Calamansi + Gluthatione!

This mixture does not only effectively whiten the skin, it also makes skin healthier because of its Vitamin A, C, E, potassium and other more essential minerals content! This is a micropeelingbat that gets rid the dark epidermal skin, making it easier for the whitening extracts to seep better unto the deeper layers of the skin.

 

Strip off that dark skin with the concentrated and intense peeling essence of CPC+G White! Leave on for 3 minutes on the area you desire to whiten and rinse. Do not forget to do a patch test. Best used with CPC+G concoction.

Ingredients: Emu Oil, Virgin Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Avocado Oil, Bearberry, Calamansi, Clair Blanche, Papain, Gluthatione, Willowbark, Iron Oxide (Non-Dye Mineral Color)

I could save 2-3 months of use for this soap since it now comes in bigger size. I knew I had to get one! This bar has now turned into light orange in color. It also smells a bit minty to me.

Been using this soap for a month and a half, and I could really see that the epidermal layer of my skin peel especially if I stood under the sun for better view, which almost looked like I did not applied my lotion for the day. It is one of the most horrifying but satisfying thing to see. It did not hurt nor irritated my skin. And since it helps the skin peel, it maximizes whitening products to sink in. It was also recommended to use their CPC+G OIL, which I do also have (FREE).

I do not use this for my face nor do I use this on my entire body; I only use this soap on areas that I need to even out my skin tone. I leave it for 2-3 minutes then rinse. With continuous use and by using their other whitening products, I would say it did help my skin lighten. It is a slow process, but I am getting there. Yes, it works!

This soap has improved so much! And my previous review is now history. Way to go, VNM!

Venus and Mars Naturals Haul | World Bazaar Festival 2015

My first World Bazaar Festival I ever attended! I had to be here to purchase skincare items that I love -- Venus and Mars Naturals. I've read a few blogs that they usually held a sale. It was a long queue but worth every step it took to look for their booth.

I was about to think they are not in this year's bazaar, but lo and behold... it was right near the food court! It's like, the cloud parted to give light to what I was looking for for hours! My strength regained and started skipping to their booth. Too bad I didn't get the chance to meet Jamie and/or Justin Tan, the fabulous sisters who started this skincare brand.

Venus and Mars: Foam for the gods

It is raining right now as I am blogging. I love the rain; soothing. Plus I am listening to some playlists. This brought me my attention to the current soap I am using from Venus and Mars Naturals. (The rain reminds me a lot of stuff!) I love to give extra TLC for my body every time I bathe. The name itself makes me feel like a goddess... which every women are!

Say bye to problem skin with this dream bar. It is made out of the purest & mildest ingredients like Emu Oil, Basil Extract, Jojoba, Avocado, Olive Oil, Green Tea, Lavender, Geranium Oils and 3 potent whiteners such as Papain, Calamansi and Arbutin. It smoothens, firms up and tightens the skin's appearance leaving your skin toned and fair all over!

The soap has a beautiful artistic cut into it. It is white in color and I smells a little spicy because of its basil extract. I was expecting a dainty scent but doesn't matter. I. LOVE. BASIL.

I do not have sensitive skin. I am those girls who likes to shop for organic soaps and see what works for me. I love the fragrance of soaps and creams and talk to you what I like and dislike about it. :)

So I've been using the soap for almost a month now and I like it. I let it sit on my skin for 2-3 minutes before rinsing it off. I used this soap for my body. But I think you can use on the face as well if you prefer. It leaves my skin moisturized and soft after my bath. I cut the soap in pieces because the soap is kind of expensive to be honest so I try to save. It didn't caused me any redness or bacne.

About the smoothing, firming and tightening of my skin's appearance (Are not working out and clean eating the answer?), I couldn't tell at all. It would also take patience (and tons of it!) to see if my skin lightened a shade or two.

Awesome soap to indulge oneself. With emu oil and the rest of its natural ingredients, you know you are giving your skin with love.

I really love the floral packaging: simple yet eye-catching. The irregular cut of their (Venus and Mars Naturals) soaps give that nice touch as well.

This soap is made from their Sacha Inchi Oil, which I haven't tried it yet, but thankfully they created a soap out of it. I could get the same benefits of this oil while I am taking a bath. I bought this soap to give my body a lather of TLC. The smell is so delicious! It reminds me of a thick slice of fresh loaf of bread! The benefits of this soap immediately made me purchase this because it stimulates cell regeneration, fights and prevents free radical damage and aging skin, and enhance healthy glowing skin. Doesn't it make our skin feel protected from the pollution and UV rays after a long day? It makes my skin soft and supple after bath, but I never skip applying lotion to lock-in moisture.

The soap, however, doesn't have a written expiry date. :(

Oh my gosh! How long has it been since I last bought from them? I've been stalking their Facebook page for a year and a half, and I see they have new items in their store! But hey! I'm happy I get to wait this long. I get to choose what I really want (and what my budget permits) for me. Their soaps has a new look which is super cute! It feels like I am inside a candy store!

Venus & Mars: CPC+G Oil Whitening Treatment

Need something to even out your skin tone? I recently purchased V&M CPC+G Oil a month ago... or should I say, this is actually a repurchase because I have tried this product years ago.

I've also written a review on V&M CPC+G Soap in case you didn't know. Read here. They are both skin lightening treatment to help even out skin tone.

V&M CPC+G Oil Whitening Treatment 20ml [Php235]

Clair Blanche – Papain – Calamansi plus Glutathione! This mixture does not only effectively whiten the skin, it also makes skin healthier because of its Vitamin A, C, E, pottasium and other more essential minerals content! This concoction may be used for the face and body. 

Ingredients: Clair Blanche, Papain, Calamansi, Glutathione

In case some are wondering how the product's name CPC+G originated, it stands for Clair Blanche, Papain, Calamansi plus Gluthatione which are good to help lighten the skin. I really had no idea what it was when I first bought it. So now you know.

What I love about this concentrate is that you can mix it with your lotion, moisturizer or astringent in your skin care. Yes, add drops of this and instantly it is now a whitening concoction. I don't know how it works, but V&M suggested to try it. I can be a little hesitant because certain brands have their own formula... and I don't want to mess things up, if you get my drift.

Directions for Use:Use 1 to 3% or 3 to 6 drops of these babies and mix into your favorite lotion, astringent, cream, moisturizer and EVEN EMU OIL. Emu Oil plus CPC+G is the perfect combo! Emu Oil is the natural oil that penetrates the fastest onto one's skin.

NOTE: If your lotion, astringent, cream or moisturizer has whitening extracts in it, use 1% or 3 drops per 30ml only. 

Hey, what is there to lose? Add few drops of this as recommended in a small batch of your lotion or moisturizer and see how it goes. But if you still feel skeptical, perhaps purchasing other products from V&M would be a better option.

I like it that now this has a convenient pump. My previous purchases of this CPC+G makes it difficult me to control how much I needed, thus it ended up on the floor.

I added a few drops as directed in my favorite body lotion... and, I can't tell for now because some people say my skin has already lightened in the previous years before I start using such as one of these products. I am not saying my skin if perfect; it still has imperfections. I applied my lotion with added drops of CPC+G Oil to even my skin... and I really can't tell for sure.

Sometimes I directly dab a little of this oil to certain areas that needs to lighten while I also use other whitening products. I wouldn't solely rely on this alone. You can browse in their website here. But in my experience, use what ever you think works for you. And with patience, I would say, it did help lighten and brighten certain areas. It wasn't a "Look! My skin is porcelain white" or anything, but it lightened a bit. You can see a difference.

Either way, it didn't caused me allergies or breakouts which is a good thing. A little of this is all you need.

Yes, I would repurchase. It made my skin lighten; it wasn't an instant thing, but I can see some difference after a month. Like anyone who wants a healthy skin, be sure to apply sunblock, keep yourself away from the sun especially between 10am-3pm and do exfoliate. Again, don't rely on one product to get results. Use it regularly and patience is key.

Venus & Mars: Royal Pearl

I do believe I have covered every products from my V&M haul months ago. Guess you can tell by now that most of the products I bought from V&M are for the face. This soap is actually a repurchase.

Yes, this is another of my favorite soaps from Venus & Mars -- their Royal Pearl. The name reminds me from someone who is Maharlika while taking a bath with crushed pearls. And I would love that! Who doesn't want beautiful skin?

After years I have tried this, it still surprises me this soap has a cantaloupe or melon scent to it. I would never ever think something like soap has such scent because it doesn't say in the ingredients or reviews as far as I know about the fruity scent and I like that. Fun and unexpected things you would find in small packages like these are so nice.

I love the results the first time I used this. It took a while to lather though. My skin looked supple and feels softer. Very gentle. I am not sure about wrinkle-fighting, but if it did, I am glad it helped whatever lines may form remain unseen by the naked eye. The texture overtime of use is a little creamy. I love to let the foam sit on my face a bit longer as I take a shower to reap more of its benefits! It doesn't sting at all nor caused redness or breakouts. I can't tell if it lightened my skin during the time I used it. I do remember my boyfriend complimented me with how my skin looks smooth and glow. (Awww...) After that, I knew I need one of these in my next V&M haul.

Again, you would have known by now that I'd use this as a facial bar cleanser; I'd cut this in pieces to save money because I want this to last forever! However, the third (or fourth?) time I purchased and used this, I noticed it had this other smell. I do not know how to describe it, but I wouldn't say it is THAT terrible or fishy -- but just something funny. It did still smell like melon, but it also smelled something else. (Olfactory Memory) I don't want anyone to think I'm being harsh. I was hoping it was my imagination and ignored this smell for two weeks, but I couldn't take it much longer that I decided to use this for my body. I didn't want to throw it away of course; at least my body had been showered with the benefit of pearls. My body feels soft, clean and moisturized afterwards.

I really don't know what that was, but it is always good to use the soap(s) as soon as it arrived in your doorsteps. Don't let it wait for another week or month. Though I would want to hoard as many products as I can to save shipping and handling fee, Venus & Mars' products do not have expiration dates. You don't know if you are getting the freshest batch in your package, so buy only what you need.

That being said, I still love this soap. I would recommend this to anyone because it will leave your skin supple. This is one of the soaps that helped me get beautiful skin and became a fan ever since.

Here's another facial soap from Venus & Mars that I love! I do believe this is my first try using this soap. Just by looking at the name of the product, you can immediately tell what this soap does: FIGHT LINES AND WRINKLES and INCREASE SKIN CELLS' NATURAL COLLAGEN PRODUCTION. I'm a little skeptical about it at first, but I decided to try it... which I know I will do. I've been using it for the last 4-5 weeks and my skin loves it!

This soap weighs 135g for Php255. Every Rewinding Stem Soap is divided in two colors: red and green. I am not sure which is which, but I do think half of it is the "Stem cell mixed with Emu Oil increases skin cell production by up to 50%", while the other half "increases your natural collagen production by as much as 80%" according to the benefits of this soap for the skin. And thus, using them together, leaves such a awesome combo for a happy skin. I always cut the soap in pieces vertically, so I do get both of these colors every time I wash my face with. And when I only have a tiny piece left, I also wash it for the rest of my body. A lot of people get a hint of apples, but what this soap really reminds me of is Play-Doh. It bothered my at first, but just as long as I see wonderful results, it's okay. It actually reminds me of my childhood.

After using it for some time, I have to say, I love what this soap does to my skin. For starters, I do not have lines or wrinkles, but I do think prevention is better than cure. I love to use this as a prevention and keep my skin healthy and happy. I love that it makes my skin soft to touch whenever I use it and leaves an even skin tone in the long run. My pores look finer, but I still use a pore strip every week for more deep clean. It feels so good washing the face without that nasty gunk! Some people have also noticed of my skin's glow. It didn't caused me dryness, breakouts or redness using this soap. It didn't caused my skin to peel, unless it's a micropeel. For the past month, I've been struggling with these little breakouts around my right jawline probably from hormones, weather changes or stress. But this soap slowly diminished some of my acne scars around my jawline. Overall, with proper diet and exercise, my skin looks awake, smooth and healthy.

I love this soap. I will definitely repurchase.

I am always on a look-out for moisturizing and lightening creams in the market, and one of those creams is V&M Bare it All Cream that I always need to repurchase because my haul doesn't seem complete without it.

Venus & Mars Naturals is the first emu oil skin care line in the Philippines. I love that their products are made in the Philippines, pure, and organic without the harmful chemicals. I've tried their line for years now, and I still keep coming back for their products that I may want to try.

Underarm Chicken Skin? Cracked Heels? Corns and Calluses? Rough and Dark Knees and Elbows?

I bought a 100g of their Bare It All Cream which comes in purple. It can be applied on areas such as the underarms, feet, elbows, knees, and thighs! It comes in two variants: plain and minty. You know I always pick the fan favorite and I got the minty one. I immediately love that lavender scent to it because it's just that soothing. I always am looking forward to grab this especially on days I need a pick-me-up. It's one of those products I love to apply after my bath and feel that cool sensation that lasts for few minutes. My boyfriend asked me if I was wearing a perfume because it just smells so good. LOL! If he only knew I wasn't wearing any perfume! If I feel like staying home and read books, I apply this on my underarms as my deodorant. I do not smell funky throughout the whole day, but I wouldn't suggest it if you know you are going out in public without enough protection. I've never dared applied this on my face because it just doesn't say, though it can quite be tempting to use this all over your body. But because with this tub right here, I hate to see it go away so fast so I use as little as I can. A little bit goes a long way! It is a heavy cream, but it doesn't feel greasy or sticky afterwards because it sinks to your skin as soon as you applied it. It is really moisturizing and makes skin soft to touch. However, since I'm only using it for weeks, I cannot vouch for its lightening results, but V&M said you could add few drops of their CPC+G Oil to help lighten your skin faster.

Venus & Mars: CPC+G Soap

I really admire other women who has that natural glow and healthy skin which shows how much they take good care of themselves. I love my skin color, but because of hyperpigmentation on some areas, I get self-conscious. I want an even tone skin, but not necessarily mean achieve a "whiter" skin. That's different.

CPC+G Oil: The "It" Whitenener

This is V&M's CPC+G Oil which I also tried years ago. I am going to save my thoughts on what I think about this one because I honestly haven't written a review about it. But one thing for sure, as soon as they launched a soap derived from this lovely concoction, I just had to try it.

This is going to be my second (or, third?) purchase of their CPC+G Soap.

This mixture does not only effectively whiten the skin, it also makes skin healthier because of its Vitamin A, C, E, pottasium and other more essential minerals content! This is a micropeeling bar that gets rid of dark epidermal skin, making it easier for the whitening extracts to seep better unto the deeper layers of the skin. 

What are the BENEFITS of V&M CPC+G Feel Good Peel Soap?1. It whitens even the most stubborn and darkest areas (concentrated whitening!)2. It sloughs off dark skin in the areas you desire to whiten.3. It moisturizes the skin and softens the appearance of chicken skin making it easier for our “chicken-skin-creams” to penetrate the skin. 

Tip: The longer you leave the product on before rinsing, the more intense and potent the whitening effect gets. Adjust the duration as desired. Do not forget to do a patch test before using the product especially on sensitive areas.

Like what I did on my other V&M soaps, I cut this in pieces to make it last. I like that this soap helps lighten dark spots while as I take a shower, and let it sit on my skin as long as I want. It is a spot treatment to leave on areas you only want to lighten.

I use this soap every day. It didn't irritated my skin nor did I see any dramatic peeling on the outer layer of my skin, which I thought it would happen. It lathers really well, and this soap can last to a month or two depending on use. The results, however, is a gradual process, and I wouldn't rely to this soap if you are looking for an immediate whitening within two months; it did help in some way, but not to the extent of a total skin make-over! However, V&M did recommend to use their other whitening products, aside from this soap, to help hasten the process.

I really hope they'd make a bigger soap of this.
